There will be two paired comparative talks on issues of multilingualism and indigeneity from two fabulous scholars:
Matylda Figlerowicz, Assistant Professor of Comparative Literature will speak about "After Malinche’s Babel: The Perception of Nahuatl’s Temporality in Language Pedagogy"
Victoria Almansa-Villatoro, Junior Research Fellow, Harvard Society of Fellows, will talk about:
“Beyond Hieroglyphs: Standardization, Dialects, and Literacy in ancient Egypt (c. 2600-2200 BCE)”
