I am interested in the intersections of medicine, craft, and Buddhist ritual in early-modern Tibet. Other academic interests include bodily ornamentation; Buddhist reliquary jewelry; ritual aesthetics; and the study of material culture and religion, more broadly. I hold a BA in Religion from Reed College, and an MA in Religious Studies from Vanderbilt University.
