FAS Premodern Race Seminar 2020-21

A regular discussion group on pre-circulated readings about race in Classics, Medieval Studies, and Early Modern Studies; open to Harvard faculty, graduate students, and advanced undergraduates. Organized by Anna Wilson (English) and Vanessa Braganza (English), with Rachel Love (Classics) and Naomi Weiss (Classics).

In the fall semester, meetings will run on alternate Mondays, beginning September 21. We will read critical work by Geraldine Heng, Kim F. Hall, Margo Hendricks, and Shelley Haley among others. A budget is available for student participants to purchase books.
