FAS Premodern Race Seminar 2020-21

A regular discussion group on pre-circulated readings about race in Classics, Medieval Studies, and Early Modern Studies; open to Harvard faculty, graduate students, and advanced undergraduates. Organized by Anna Wilson (English), Alexandra Schultz (Classics), and Rachel Love (Classics).  The seminar will take place every other Monday to discuss pre-circulated readings on race and critical race studies in the premodern world. In our first session we will be discussing the place of 'Western Civ' narratives in the classroom, our disciplines, and beyond.
